Well, this is unrelated to my normal rants about media and technology, just my Xmas shout-out I guess..
I’ve just got back from a week up north and let me tell you, it was hot, I did the all of the usual rituals; seeing family, eating too much, drinking too much and sleeping… a lot. Excessive time of year.
It’s been an eye-opening year for me. I’ve almost finished the Nat. Dip. Journalism at Whitireia and it seems to all be going pretty well, i’ve made some great friends (you know who you are 
) and learned a hell of a lot about the media industry.
Next on my agenda is an internship in January at the Hawkes Bay Today daily in Napier. I’ll show them some mighty fine journalism alright.
My new-years resolution is to build up this blog until it’s a juggernaut. It’s time to start building some networks.
